CHARLESTON -- A group of outstanding teachers across the state will receive the Arch Coal Teacher Achievement Awards on Tuesday, March 9.
Each teacher will receive a $3,500 personal cash reward from the Arch Coal Foundation.
West Virginia Education Association's foundation provides a $1,000 grant to the school of each teacher, to be used for at-risk students.
The event gets underway at 1 p.m. in front in the lobby outside the Clay Center.
