Need to pick up some graduate hours? Whether it is for renewal, salary advancement or simply enhancing your knowledge, your WVEA membership can help.

WVEA has a long-standing partnership with VESi (Virtual Education Software, inc.) to provide online graduate courses for our members at highly discounted rates. WVEA members have the option to participate in nearly 30 graduate courses in general and exceptional education, reading, early childhood, and English language learners.

WVEA members pay an annual subscription fee of $250 and are granted access to nine hours of online graduate courses. There are many options to choose from (see list of courses) and hours/transcripts will be issued through Lake Superior State University in Michigan. The subscription is good for one year. You must complete your nine hours of credit within that time window, or you will need to pay for another subscription if you wish to finish or take additional courses.

This year we will be using Lake Superior State University as the accrediting institution for the coursework. In previous years, our contract was through the University of Notre Dame, Maryland. If you currently have an annual subscription for courses through the University of Notre Dame, Maryland they will honor that subscription through April 1, 2026.
