2024–2025 Professional Membership
Professional membership (pre K-12 and Higher Education) is open to any person who is professionally engaged in public education in West Virginia who holds a license as a professional educator (including substitutes) or is licensed to serve in the public education system of West Virginia in any other professional capacity. By joining as an active professional member you are entitled to all the rights, benefits, and privileges provided under the WVEA Constitution and Bylaws including, but not limited to, the right to vote and hold elective office within the Association, actively participate in all Association meetings, consultation with staff, Association training programs, legal representation, liability insurance, and other NEA/WVEA Member Benefits.
