WVEA local affiliates across the state are going to their local boards of education in November and December. They are sharing copies of the WV School Journal and a sample letter to Governor Tomblin. The letter supports WVEA’s Competitive Pay Campaign and asks the Governor to continue the work toward the goal of a $43,000 starting salary by 2019.

At the November interims (November 17-19), WVEA staff are delivering copies of the WV School Journal to all legislators and are mailing copies to those newly-elected legislators.
During the December interims, we will be coordinating an e-mail blitz to all current and newly-elected legislators.
