From custodian to teacher

Robin Hill

Lincoln County member Robin Hill started her career as a custodian. After being placed on a RIF and transfer list, Hill decided to become a substitute teacher. The new associate degree substitute provisions made her eligible to be a substitute teacher.

At the start of school, she was given a long-term substitute position as a special education teacher. Hill was also taking college classes and was able to graduate with her bachelor’s degree. Congratulations Robin on your new career!
